AT&T has sponsored new research to show that a non-neutral Internet would require (gasp!) twice the bandwidth of a tiered Internet! The horror! Oh, wait. That’s totally true. And, one observer says, providing that extra bandwidth would actually cost less than tiering the networks. Weirdly, that last bit of information isn’t in the AT&T research. I guess they just missed it. In other news, Google and Yahoo are planning to unite all social networks… er…separately. Sigh.
